GREATNESS HAS NO AGE

We are helping to create the next generation of leaders and problem-solvers. We believe that the only way to learn leadership skills is through frequent practice and the skills learned at our science, engineering, technology, and math training events keep our cadets on the leading edge of today’s high-tech environment. From aerial and underwater robotics to cybersecurity, the opportunities for technical learning are plentiful.

RECENT EVENTS

Navy Day Regatta

October 16th, 2022|

The Mason Division held a recruiting event at the Navy Day Regatta in Philadelphia on October 16, 2022. It was a beautiful fall day; over 700 boats participated in 71 events. Crews from USNA and USMMA competed and fared well. The Navy League Council and Mason Division Sea Cadet Unit distributed mugs and took photos of winning crews, handed out giveaways, and entertained questions.

A gift for our Commanding Officer, LTJG Youngblood

October 7th, 2022|

During our recent drill, PO2 Cuevas Riego De Dios presented the US Coast Guard Ensign as a gift to our Commanding Officer, LTJG Youngblood.  PO2 Cuevas Riego De Dios received the ensign during his week-long advanced training at the US Coast Guard Station in San Francisco where he participated in live boat patrols and emergency calls in the region.

Baltimore Ave Stroll

September 16th, 2022|

At The Baltimore Avenue Stroll, Mason Division set up a table for recruiting.  In the photos are PO1 Adrian Chui and INST Hetty Wong (Adrian's mother).

Coast Guard Training

September 8th, 2022|

PO2 Cuevas Riego de Dios completed the Coast guard training at USCG Motor Lifeboat Station Golden Gate. I really liked the training. Small boat operations really helped with everything including driving a 29 RBS and 47 MLB at the Coast Guard station. I would recommend anyone that completes small boat operations to maybe go to one of the stations to use their skills

Our Unique Training Opportunities

Throughout the year, cadets regularly meet for activities. During school vacations, cadets have the opportunity to participate in training events around the country. We offer programs in areas such as aviation, field and medical training, leadership development, military police science, scuba diving, seamanship, photojournalism and sailing. Cadets train aboard U.S. Navy and Coast Guard ships and can meet Sea Cadets from around the world on our International Exchange Program.
