PO1 Cuevas Diego De Dios was selected to go on the USS Wasp from Norfolk, Virginia to New York City for Fleet week 2023. It was an amazing experience where he got to go on and live aboard an active US Navy vessel and see how the Navy works up close. Watching helicopters take off and land on the flight deck was one of the most memorable things he saw aboard the USS Wasp. Manning the rails the morning we entered New York City harbor was also another great memory he had aboard the Wasp. This was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity for one of our cadets!
